		<description>I think this is one of the biggest, most important differences between having companies own teams and having individuals/small groups own them. For the Trib or the NYT, the club is an asset and something shareholders hold them responsible for. For the Steinbrenner&#039;s or Reinsdorf or whoever, it&#039;s just them making the gamble and they have the latitude to act quickly, rather than tie the team&#039;s operations to how some other business owned by the same parent company is doing.</description>
