Conversely, I look at the AL Central and see a division winner with at least five fewer wins than the AL Wild Card winner, possibly even fewer wins (again) than the AL East's third-place team. The "IFs" are there for every team at the beginning of the season, but they are what adds a little spring in the step during this time of the year. Everyone has a chance to win in all in April. Oh and I would have to disagree about the AL central as the worst divison in baseball. I think the NL Central has a stranglehold on that title this year. Hope Springs Eternal.
