The 2009 schedule is up, and yet another Sox-Pirates series is set to play out here in Chicago next May. Pity it isn’t happening this weekend, for today is the only day worthy of such a showdown: Talk Like a Pirate Day. You have to wonder if that means we should not only walk the plank of the NL Central, but also throw around phrases like “Welcome to Hell” and “Over .500? Man, that was 16 years ago.”
